Happy Easter (Don’t Put All Your Eggs in One Basket)
Posted on: 29 Mar, 23
Oury and Clark are here to wish you a happy Easter. And to remind you all to make sure that you’ve used all of your personal tax allowances for this year, and that your business is prepped for any changes.
Hey Oury, are you going to join me wishing all of our friends a Happy Easter?
Of course I am Clark, happy Easter everyone, now I’m going to have to bounce. So much to do.
Don’t hare off, what’s the rush?
Well, it’s Easter of course, and I’m in the middle of organising an easter egg hunt.
Delightful, but that shouldn’t leave you hopping from foot to foot.
Well, no, but I need to give some clients advice on impending changes to R&D tax credits.
Oh, didn’t the mellifluously voiced Ciaran Burke chat about that in the podcast?
Indeed he did. And loads of other interesting stuff about EIS, SEIS and generally raising finance and debt funding. That and he mentioned sport a few times.
Oh, well, you can’t have everything, and we do like to let people rabbit on about their favourite subjects. It still doesn’t explain why you are quite so excitable.
It’s the end of the tax year and my batteries are nearly empty, there is so much to remind people about.
Ah, yes, topping up one’s pension basket, using one’s ISA allowance, that kind of thing?
Quite, and I’m so busy sorting out the business side of things for the end of the year, I’m running out of time to sort things out for myself. I’ll be hopping mad if I miss the deadline.
Why not give Andrew Thomas and his team a call, they can help you with your nest eggs, even if you’ve just got a fiver to stow away safe from the tax man.
Hello! Do drop me a line Oury happy to help.
Lifesaver, mind if I share it around?
Not at all. The more the merrier.
Talking of which, have a Merry Easter everyone.
And a Happy New Tax Year.
