Dont Get Tied up by the Red Tape Bot!

As some of you have spotted there has been a recent flurry of rule changes from this April as a result of the “B word that shall not be named”.  If you aren’t up to speed, fear not. Our heroes Oury and Clark are here to help you battle against the most annoying of the business monsters. Red Tape.

You are probably up to speed if your business is affected by the new rules around importing and exporting food to the EU (the rules came into force on the 30th of April), likewise if the introduction of ICS2 from June 3rd is liable to impact your operations.  However, there are sometimes things that grab fewer headlines, but still trip up the smooth running of your operations. Like holiday pay.  As of April 1st the post B?*#!t legislation was passed into law.  So if your business had only been paying basic remuneration for holiday days in anticipation of a bonfire of red-tape, you probably want to read our handy quick guide about holiday pay.
