Greetings Friends of Oury Clark,

This month our plucky adventurers Oury & Clark are helping folks navigate the clouded and crowded skies between the US, UK and all points “favourable tax regime”.

Our friends and colleagues in US Tax returns have noticed a distinct uptick in folks based in the US returning (or resettling) to the UK. What you might call the MAGA effect. So if you are US based and thinking about the UK as your MAG-Antidote let David and the ATR team know if we can help.

If, on the other hand, you are thinking about leaving the UK because you think yourself likely to get caught up in all the non-dom nonsense. Read on.

Advice for Non-Doms – the Tax Without Bullsh-t Episode

What happens when a bunch of tax law and property experts hijack a podcast studio? It’s this. There is a lot of nonsense flying around about non-doms in the press and in government so we sat down to try and explain what it is going on.

We explain what the term Non-Dom actually means, how tax is global not national and why there are likely to be some short term benefits for those who the changes in legislation might affect. Keep that bit under your hat though.

We’ll be honest, this episode is not for everyone, the changes in the rules won’t apply to 99.55% of people. It is worth a listen if you want to be the best informed person in the pub the next time the phrase “Non-Dom” comes up in a bar-room debate.
